E or Tiger is a German heavy tank from World War II. Its distinctive hull is still recognizable around the world. The vehicle itself has become a legend and is present not only in historical documents but also in pop culture. The first Tiger examples were placed on the front lines near Leningrad and Tunisia between August and September 1942. Designed and manufactured by Henschel,the tank was very modern and effective. Unfortunately,its production consumed a large amount of valuable raw materials and precious manufacturing time. Tiger I tanks and some Tiger IIs had a significant impact on the course of the war. The infamous Tigers destroyed more than 10,300 Allied tanks and 11,380 guns,with their own losses being only 1,725.
